Can I download my tax return once it's complete?
Yes, once it's uploaded, it's yours to keep.
Your Tax Pro uploads your return to your request as the work progresses: a draft for you to review, then the final version once it's filed.
Download any document
- Open your request and select the Documents tab.
- Find the file under Your documents tagged "Final Return".
- Select the three dots next to the file, then select Download.
Everything your Tax Pro uploads shows up here alongside the documents you uploaded, so this is also where you'll find your draft return, your prior year return, and your source documents.
Download your filed return
After your return is filed, it also appears on its own under Your filed return, to the right of your document list. Select Download return to save a copy.
After your request closes
Your files are also stored in Docs on your dashboard for future reference.
