To classify your filing status during onboarding, it'll be the first question that's asked:
After you've submitted your work request, your job specs will reflect the filing status you chose so your Pro is aware. In the event that you clicked "I'm Not Sure", they'll be able to clarify what status best fits your situation after chatting with you.
Pro Tip: If you chose Married Filing Jointly (MFJ) as your status, you'll need to disclose your spouse's personal information so your Pro accurately reports it on your joint return.
