What if I don't respond once my return is complete?
If we are unable to reach you once your return has been completed, we will not proceed with e-filing unless you've digitally signed the e-file authorization Form 8879. However, we prioritize your convenience and will gladly provide you with a copy of your prepared return for your thorough review. This copy can be filed by mail according to your preference.
After a two-day period following the completion of your return, your Pro will close your job, and your credit card will be billed for the remaining balance as per the initial quote.
Should you decide to have us e-file your return and you have already received your return and filing instructions, simply reach out to us via the Help Chat. We will promptly re-open your job, enabling your Pro to proceed with the e-filing process on your behalf. It's important to note that if you opt for e-filing, there is no need to mail in your return.
