      What if I want to cancel my tax return preparation?

      No worries below is our cancelation policy for your information!

      You may cancel your Taxfyle return preparation through the platform anytime by informing your Pro and contacting the Success team through the Help Chat. Please note cancellation requests are subject to the following: 

      1. Before Job Starts - If Your Cancellation Request is received by Us before a Third-Party Tax Professional has accepted Your Work Request, you will receive a full refund, including for Fees paid, and will not be charged a Cancellation Fee.

      2. Prior to Draft Uploaded - If Your Cancellation Request is received by Us after a Third-Party Tax Professional has accepted Your Work Request, but prior to submitting a draft tax return for Your review, then You will be charged a Cancellation Fee in an amount equaling fifty percent (50%) of the total of Your Service Amount plus Fees.

      3. After a Draft had been uploaded to review - If Your Cancellation Request is received by Us after a Third-Party Tax Professional has submitted Your Work Request for Review, You will be charged a Cancellation Fee in an amount equaling one hundred percent (100%) of the total of Your Service Amount plus Fees.

      Please note this Cancellation Policy has been updated with our Terms of Services and is effective as of January 9th, 2024.
