What if my B2C client stops responding but I've completed the return?

In the event that your B2C client's tax return has been prepared and is ready for filing, yet the client has not responded or provided the required e-file authorization, consider incorporating the following message:

"Your tax return has been prepared and is ready for filing. Although we have not yet received your e-file authorization, I have taken the liberty of creating a physical copy of your return that you can file via mail. Additionally, I have included comprehensive filing/mailing instructions for your reference. Should you choose to e-file your return, please contact Taxfyle Support and they will be more than happy to reopen your job for me to e-file on your behalf. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you and I look forward to the possibility of working with you again next year!"

Once you have sent this message, make sure to upload the final version of the return, along with the filing/mailing instructions and conclude the job. If the client subsequently requests to e-file, you will need to facilitate the process on their behalf.
