Can I request services outside of income taxes?

Currently, the only services that can be provided by Taxfyle are identified within the app. However, if you have an open job, you can reach out to your Pro or the Success Team with any requests and we'll see what we can do to help you out. Depending on your circumstances, we may be able to help you with some of the following services or even some that may not be listed here:

*If you are looking for annual bookkeeping services, Taxfyle has partnered with Bench bookkeeping services to provide year round support. Staying on top of your finances can be a hassle without your own personal bookkeeping team. Bench allows users to start with their own free trial.

What if I have an issue with my service or want to cancel?

As indicated in our cancellation policy, Pros must be paid for the work performed unless negligence is involved. Please note we're always available via the help chat button and keep our FAQs up to date in order to resolve any issues or answer any questions you may have. We ask that you let us know before the work is substantially done if you are unsure about a particular issue.

Upfront pricing is one of the tools we use to guarantee you the best Pro rate. Taxfyle is 40% cheaper than alternative tax preparation chains (which don’t always utilize the expertise of a credentialed Pro) because we ensure the Pros payment for the jobs they pick up and provide efficiencies via an instant in-app experience.

Is my information safe?

We understand the reservations that come along with submitting sensitive information to outside parties; however, please rest assured that Taxfyle takes every precaution to ensure your information is safe.

Taxfyle stores all of your information within SOC2 compliant (same controls required by banks) databases with controls over all documents to ensure no third parties can access them. In addition, our app has an automatic log out precaution in case outside parties get a hold of your phone.

What hours is Taxfyle available?

While Pros are available 24/7 to pick up work requests submitted within the platform at various times of the day, response times are admittedly slower during late evenings and early morning hours.

Likewise, the Success Team is available within the help chat and responds to all inquiries that require follow-up. The Success Team makes every effort to reply as soon as they can, however, please note that Taxfyle headquarters are located within the eastern time zone, therefore response times may lag during late evenings and early morning hours.

Is Taxfyle available outside of the United States?

Taxfyle is currently only available to complete U.S. tax returns. However, we are planning to expand into additional countries in the future. Any individual with a U.S. filing requirement may use the app, from anywhere in the world, as long as they've got an internet connection.
